Requirements that must be carefully checked and followed when using a dump trailer
Time:2024/09/18

A dump trailer is a vehicle that unloads goods by itself through hydraulic or mechanical lifting. Many users will ignore some small things, which will cause accidents due to their carelessness. It is recommended that trailer drivers carefully check and comply with the following requirements when using it.

1. Before use, be sure to confirm whether there are people on both sides and the rear of the dump trailer, and be sure to operate in a safe manner. Before operation, first confirm whether the lifting limit device is intact (if damaged, please stop lifting and contact the after-sales service of the modification factory as soon as possible).

2. After the lifting operation is completed, before driving, remember to turn off the power take-off switch first, so that the power take-off is separated from the gearbox, then the oil pump will stop rotating; the manual operating valve is placed in the middle stop position to avoid the danger of automatic lifting during driving.

3. After lifting, the car body must be reset to fully fit the upper wing surface of the subframe before driving the dump trailer, because the car body is moving in the lifted state. The dump trailer is very likely to have a malfunction and accident.

4. During the period when the dump semi-trailer is out of use, in order to extend the service life of the dump semi-trailer, it is recommended that the owner conduct a comprehensive and regular inspection of the dump semi-trailer.

5. The cargo in the carriage is evenly distributed, and it is not allowed to be seriously overloaded or dumped.

6. To make the gear pump work, the clutch pedal should be stepped on first, and then the power take-off switch should be turned on to avoid collision when the power take-off gear is engaged.

7. When the carriage is lifted, the engine speed should be controlled within 2000r/min, especially after the carriage is lifted to 40°, do not increase the throttle to avoid damage to the limit valve and other parts.

8. Before using the dump semi-trailer, check that the "power take-off switch and manual operation valve" should be in a separated and lowered state to prevent accidents.

9. When the carriage is lifted, there should be no facilities or people within a 5-meter range, and the operator should not leave the cab.

10. When the dump trailer is in use, the chassis power take-off must stop and the manual operating valve must be in the middle stop position. It is strictly forbidden to operate the manual operating valve to the lifting and lowering position for driving.
